Periodontics and Oral Surgery - Victor Terranova, D.M.D, M.S., PhD.

Dr. Victor Terranova is a big personality at Bay Dental at the Pointe and has a long and distinguished career in the field of dentistry. His expertise spans four decades in dentistry, having owned his own practice, previously holding a staff position at the National Institutes of Health and Columbia University, and is President of Cytotaxis, Inc. and Chief Scientific Officer for Contran Medical Technologies. Dr. Terranova performs all the oral surgery, implants, extractions. and maxillo-facial surgeries needed at the practice. He holds a dual degree having trained in all major maxillofacial surgical procedures. He has plastic surgery training and oral pathology training.In his spare time, Dr. Terranova enjoys skiing competitively, racing Ferraris, and participating in competitive tennis.

Vanessa Coupet, D.D.S. - Pediatric Dentistry




Vanessa Coupet, D.M.D. is an Assistant Professor of Clinical Surgery in the division of Dentistry, Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery at Weill Cornell Medical College and Assistant Attending Dentist at New York Presbyterian Hospital. Dr. Coupet specializes in pediatric dentistry. Dr. Coupet received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Cornell University and dental degree from Tufts University. She completed her general practice and pediatric residency training at Bronx Lebanon Hospital Center in Bronx, New York, where she served as chief resident. She also serves as the dental consultant at St. Mary’s Hospital for Children at Bayside, NY.Dr. Coupet is an active member of many prestigious organizations such as the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, American Dental Association and the New York State Dental Association.

Dr. Vanessa was born in Brooklyn and raised in Long Island.  She received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Cornell University and dental degree from Tufts University. She completed her general practice and pediatric residency training at Bronx Lebanon Hospital Center in Bronx, New York, where she served as chief resident.Dr. Vanessa is an active member of  the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, American Dental Association and the New York State Dental Association.When Dr. Vanessa is not causing havoc on her patients, she enjoys hanging out with her family and friends. She enjoys the simple things in life which include, but are not limited to hiking, running through sunflower fields, crashing weddings, reiki, making aromatherapy blends, and dance battles.
